The Process
STEP 1
PHOTOS: I can take them (Parts of New England & Florida) or you can send them! Click for INSTRUCTIONS for good photos.
DETAILS: Your wish list! This is the interview stage. I’ll have questions, and I love learning what makes your home special to you. Let me know what’s in bloom or if you want to include kids or pets.
DEPOSIT: Once I receive a deposit for 25% of the project cost, we can begin.
STEP 2
PENCIL SKETCH: At this point you have chosen a size for your artwork and we’ve had a chance to discuss the landscaping and house details as well as the options to include kids, pets, etc. This stage also shows any artistic license as you’ll see in the sketch. Other examples may include such things as: remove telephone pole, thin leaves on tree to see front roof dormers, trim large shrub to see front door, walkway & stairs are brick.
STEP 3
HIGHLY DETAILED DELUXE CUSTOM WATERCOLOR HOUSE PORTRAIT: Your Watercolor House Portrait is sent from my studio to your home–a timeless piece of original art you will treasure forever.
